I love the Bleach and HXH crossover!! It’s such a unique idea I never thought of! How far back in the timeline is Toshiro in? Does any of the current Zoldyk family members with white hair remember who he is or do they just start to forget him as they grow older? (Not Killua obviously)

So!!

Toushiro is literally the younger brother of the First Zoldyck. He's basically become a Zoldyck legend at this point - the guardian spirit that only proper heirs can see (aka the white hair = reiryoku).

Killua, however, is the first kid in a few centuries at least to be able to clearly see Hitsugaya - which is why Toushiro becomes so protective of him. Silva, Zeno, missing person (Zzigg?) and Maha can all sense Toushiro and see a fuzzy blur, but none of them have enough reiryoku to become a shinigami, or anything close. They still know when he's around because he does ghost things, but they don't really know him at all.

But Killua DOES have the reiryoku necessaryto see Hitsu. And Toushiro knows that. So he hangs around when he can, purifying the Hollows that appear when Killua kills someone, so his great x 100 nephew isn't hurt. But he's not there all the time, so he missed the needle being put in and etc.

Thus, when he notices the needle (he can see/sense Nen - being dead usually means you can see life energy yanno - but can't use it since he's not alive) he kinda. Goes apeshit.

Illumi is only alive because he's related to Hitsu, lmao.

Oh, and IchiHitsu is an established part of this. It's set WAY post Bleach canon, so Ichigo is legit dead now and Hitsu is full grown, and they're lowkey awkward-dating.

I really The Toshiro one! I think that’s my favorite!! I also really like Ichigo, the change was small enough that I couldn’t see it at first, it was so flawlessly transitioned. Such smart details. It’s cool to see the characters in different perspectives 💙

Quick and random question, are we gonna find out how Toshiro died? In earlier chapters, you hinted that no one else knew how he died (not even his closest friends and family) and I was just wondering if that’s gonna be another step of trust and acceptance for him. Just a quick question, sorry if it’s annoying ^^’

Finding out how Hitsu died in this story? Not likely. I know personally how it happened, but that’s a very private thing, private to the point that most shinigami never speak about it again, and Hitsugaya does his best to forget that day.

Okay, for real though? I fixate on characters, and BnHA didn’t have any characters I identified with the way Hitsugaya has stuck with me. (I’ve basically felt a very strong connection to him since I was 14-ish, when I started watching Bleach) HOWEVER - I was fascinated with the way the BnHA universe worked. And I absolutely love creating fake-sciency reasoning. Mashing BnHA and Bleach into Dragon Blade was pure self-indulgence, because I’m writing a character I feel super comfortable writing, in an anime that (at the time) fascinated me.

It’s really just a pile of “OOOOOOOOO!” that starts me down the path of writing a story, honestly, and sometimes that initial plotbunny spirals WAY out of control and creates a monster like Dragon Blade XD.

Honestly, I was in a pretty bad place before, but I think (I hope) I've managed to wriggle out of that place for good this time. 

Part of me thinks the pixie has fixed it, a tad. I’m slowly realizing that I don’t think I’m a girl all the time, so the more androgynous look has legit made me feel so much better - and it’s made my nonbinary days way easier to pull off. (Does that count as dysphoria? Idk - sure as hell get happy when I am a walking gender question-mark >:3)

Hopefully I’m back for good this time, but I’ll probably schedule breaks for myself from here on out. 

Also - if anyone wants to chat with me about my fics or fandoms, I’m down to chat! My DMs are usually open, and I don’ t mind sharing my discord, though it might take me a while to get to that point.

AAAHHH!!! I just read the new chapter and I am psyched!!!!! The way you is so amazing and at a skill that I aspire to be at, and I love the way that you write their POV. Like, All they understand is that Toshiro LIED and KILLED someone. That type of thinking is strongly withheld in BNHA, and it’s what drew me away at first. But you wrangled me back in! Anyways, it was so realistic and amazing! I loved the ending of H. sitting over Nedzu, just being the awesome smart ass that we love ❤️ amazing!!

And yeah! The BnHA kids have a pretty black-and-white view of morality, bothers because they're young and because they live in a society that reinforces the whole "heroes = good, villains = bad" without much critical thought put in. And changing someone's view of morality is. Very, very difficult. They're trying to come to terms with it right now, but it's going to be a pretty long process for some people.
