THE ISLAND HAS CHOSEN YOU. WHAT COMES NEXT? // hi beth! if you’re willing, we’d love a shoutout. we’re a brand new skeleton rp set on an island where residents are chosen by fate to land. as the days pass, they realize not only do they not age, but they have been granted control of one element: either earth, air, fire, or water. chapter one has just begun – welcome ashore!
My turn is done! Sorry for the delay. The combination of busy and lack of inspiration was hitting me pretty hard. So! My piece for the elemental rp started by @dorki-dorki-universe is done! ^^
Grape isn’t being malicious though she didn’t want to help. The other reason is that if she tried to help and the kid’s afraid of fire? That would go badly if she found the kid. Azo is mostly thinking of the same thing at the end.
This comic was done a day or so ago, but didn’t have time to upload it till now. Had to scan it in pieces because it’s bigger than my scanner lol. (you can see separation actually). This comic’s for @dorki-dorki-universe elemental rp!
This is set after this picture [link] which Azo referenced in the comic itself. The story behind the picture is that Feuergeist were summoned by the humans and was a body guard of the mage. She was also magically experimented on, causing her to gain chill magic alongside her natural fire magic. As the war continued, she was eventually ordered to burn down the human camp and was essentially abandoned there. Azo found her soon after (the fire was immense, she couldn’t have missed it so close to her forest).
Azo did not immediately dragged Feuergeist from the clearing, instead hanging out with the curious stranger. Once she learned how little Feuergeist knows of the outside world beyond the war, she was set in showing her more. The first week was a hassle for her however, with Feuergeist not that willing to move. By second week, Feuergeist was dragging less, but she have mostly negative comments that Azo is a little tired of (and can’t get her to stop either). Azo didn’t say anything at the end because she knows that Feuergeist would be quiet with nothing to comment on.
I only realized it later that having their conversation moving from top right to bottom left would indicate movement better than it is now, whoops. But yes, they are moving towards the same town Daloy and the others are going.
Second panel
Azo: Ah! I see houses this way!
Third panel
Feuergeist: Joy. Probably abandoned or something.
Bottom panel
Azo: Oh no, we’re not walking pass this.
Feuergeist:You want to check it out? Might not be a complete waste.
Azo: It’s better than wallowing in that clearing!
Feuergeist: It’s been weeks, Azo.
Azo: Wait, I hear chatter.
Feuergeist: Probably the unfriendly kind.
Azo: ...
Azo is enjoying the dumbfounded expression Feuergeist is giving off here and there. Feuergeist is trying to understand that there’s a town of elementals nearby while Azo gains some knowledge from her. Azo really doesn’t know what elemental she is. All she knew is that she is very different from the humans living near her until meeting Feuergeist. Feuergeist on the other hand is talking out of fragmented memories and teachings from the mage.
The top 2 elementals: the left one is a sand elemental while the right is another earth elemental.
This is quite fun despite the number of art mistakes here and there >.<. The biggest one is Grape’s arm in the last panel of page 2. It was drawn too big, so I shrunk it. And came a bit of editing with Azo, sigh. Still, I’m rather happy with the results.
