Notes: Oh, man. This is just!!!! Gah. This fic combines every rare thing I have wanted to read (or read again!) in fic: the multiverse, selfcest, jealous!Steve, post-Infinity War interactions. It’s just so much what makes fanfic great. I read this at 8AM and wept into my pillow at one point. I don’t think I had realized before reading this how viscerally afraid I was of the possibility of Tony’s reunion with Steve being one of fear and Steve-related PTSD. That is a whole thing here and it hurts so much to read, but it just makes their interactions just much more layered and meaningful, for characters for either ‘verse! Read this! And if you have any nice, non-sad-ending post-IW fics to rec, send ‘em in! ♥

Notes: I loved this! I actually love No Power AUs in general because they're so entertaining to read and a lot of the time, it's so challenging to maintain their characterizations and give justice to the new environment at the same time, but when they author gets it right, it just comes out so brilliantly. I love how Steve is freaking out because omg-I'm-not-used-to-them-not-being-straight and Tony's freaking out because why-doesn't-he-see-I'm-ogling-him and just throw the other characters there it's all very entertaining ♥

Summary: Tony could be suffering from amnesia, a hitch-hiker from a parallel dimension, a ghost or maybe a time-traveller. He's sure he could work out the answer if Steve would just stop pretending he was Tony's boyfriend.

Notes: Beautifully written, and it's true no matter how many times I say it about the things I recommend. Bruce in the last chapter just broke my heart. Great stuff though, I particularly love it whenever fics include real life cameos, and Jon Stewart seems to be a fan favorite (which I mean, duh). Great insight into characters, and written very slowly to give the plot justice :)

Summary: Tony and Steve despise each other, so Nick's natural solution is to force them to spend one hour a week together in a mandatory bonding session no amount of shouting, swearing, or physical violence will get them out of-though they certainly try. Also known as that time Tony and Steve did everything as ass backwards as humanly possible.

Notes: I'm on a bit of a Wordsplat reading spree right now, so expect some recs by him/her(?) in the coming days. This one was beautiful, unfolding gradually but also so realistically that it was so much fun to read. I loved how I also began to understand what Steve meant by understanding Tony better as the fic went on :) So good!

Notes: OH MY GODDDD I don't even have words for this. I just. The night I read this, I had an exam the next day, and I stopped studying at midnight to sleep early-ish, and I ended up staying up until 2AM reading this and fucking CRYING INTO MY PILLOW. So many emotions, so perfectly crafted, and such a great balance of humor and feelings, and UGH the way they are so fucking in love with each other is written with so much depth and so much honesty that you're just honestly tugged into it, and it comes out of your screen shakes you by the fucking SHOULDERS how much they are in love, and you just kind of. Sit there. And weep. Because it's really all you can do. Beautiful. So utterly, heartbreakingly, perfectly beautiful.

YEAH I have a lot of feelings SO SUE ME.

Summary: When S.H.I.E.L.D. approaches Tony Stark to help with their 1940s deception for Steve Rogers, to be a semi-familiar face and name to help re-introduce him to the world, Tony agrees on one condition - that it's his show to run. And at first, it seems like his plan's going off without a hitch. What he doesn't account for, however, are his own growing feelings for Steve.

Notes: This was absolutely well-crafted, especially how things wrapped up in the end. I love Steve so much here because he seems so real and so damn honest, it just breaks my heart. And how Tony comes into terms with how he's feeling is, ugh, it makes my heart ache </3 Really good stuff!
