I’m going on an adventure!

I’ll be back after 2 months of hiatus.

Even though my element is water most of the time, I could never resist being a pyro, so...yeah fire’s gonna be my choice.

I am absolutely terrified to the point where I’m having trouble sleeping. I’m going on a very sizable adventure without my family for the first time. My only companion will be one of my best friends.

She’s going to have to be around a very scared me who is really doubting herself right now. My parents have been making little comments on things they would’ve done differently in planning. Little criticisms. (Mainly about where we’re visiting and that I’ll be living out of a backpack for traveling and summer school.)

And it’s driving me mad.

I don’t know whether or not I’m excited to actually go or terrified to leave the criticism and stay within my comfortable bubble of prairie land.

Put it like that, yes, of course I want to go. But paying for everything, making sure we get where we need to go on time, is terrifying.

I’m going to see amazing sites and learn interesting things. Why am I terrified? Is it because I’m not getting any “You’re doing great, Sammy” from my parents with some of the initiative or planning I did (my friend did a ton of planning too and took a lot of initiative)? Or that I’m planning a trip with someone and therefore going onto a higher level of teamwork? Or that I’m actually going to see some of the world?

I just want to hear “You did good, Sammy. It’s going to be fine.”

Instead I’m barring out my soul onto the internet.

Mom: Drop her and her whiny voice.

Dad: Yeah. He should hook up with one of those two guys he works with.

Me: But the M.E., Carlos, is married!

Dad: That's what makes it spicy!

Mom: What kind of man did I marry?

2. Would you want to be, a Disney villain or hero/ heroine?

Probably a Disney heroine. I don’t think I’d make a great villain–I’d be too worried about hurting people.

15. Which Disney character’s life would you want to steal? Or at least try out for the day?

Belle. Have you seen her library?! And being paired up with Adam wouldn’t be bad either. And the architecture of the castle is exquisite.
