Elias does not believe in frivolities like comfort. currently, their most expensive possession is the state-of-the-art monitoring equipment and bug detector (it cost more than the junker car they're driving until elbow grease and duct tape won't hold it together any more). their disposable income routes through a shell company into switzerland and then from there to the caymans, neatly divided into several currencies. they suppose that their most expensive purchase will be their's and Cece's freedom and disappearance, if they can keep their head above water with their dual life as a handler and member of the kidnapping ring long enough.
