Every movement of his form provoked a SEARING pain about his ribs, and he figured at least one had snapped in the fight. Like a wounded ANIMAL, Jonathan stumbled behind a building to collect himself and discovered the presence of another. “Stay away.”

Fear meme: loss of control, insects, and loneliness
Give my muse a fear and they’ll rate it from 1-10 according to this scale!
“Insects? Disgusting as they may be..aren’t exactly fearsome. Are they?” Sure he’d given a shudder or two towards an oversized spider but more often than not a well-timed shoe or heavy object put a quick end to that.
Insects; 1 This doesn’t bother me at all. I am completely okay with this.
Loss of control. Oof. The crumbling of his empire; the loss of everything he’s worked so very hard for. To go from sitting pretty on a winning hand to being at the bottom, no ace up his sleeve.
A frown tugs at the corner of his mouth and the Kingpin waves a hand in dismissal.
Loss of Control; Helplessness; 7. I see it as a pretty big fear of mine, I cannot stand being in the presence of this, or I could be mentally distraught.
But of all the ideas listed, the last one has him pausing, averting his gaze and keeping his mouth shut for just a moment. It cuts deep, prying at wounds he’d thought would have healed with time. The realization that there was no one on his side; the knife of betrayal twisting and twisting until it couldn’t possibly get any further. An empty Manor, devoid of any but himself. Silence.
Silence so great it would leave one’s ears ringing.
9 - This is one of my biggest fears, and even implying stuff about it seeing stuff about it online makes me terrified.
