Can you expand more on the Sojourn stuff? I think yall dont know what it is fully in the campaign yet right? How did Eliese react the first time?
(Okay so I wrote this whole thing out and closed the tab accidentally so. Second attempt).
So Sojourn is. Complicated to say the least. Within the story currently the party does know that:
He is a god of a different dimension/the "in-between"
He wanted to use the party as his means of exerting his vision on the world
He is fond of orphans and protects them
As for how Eliese reacted the first time... It was certainly a meeting. Sojourn was basically. How to phrase this- placed inside her? a piece of him fused with her soul and she had a brief conversation wherein he psychoanalyzed her (diagnosed daddy issues by an entity wearing your face). He did apologize for knowing everything, sort of a side effect of integrating with her soul.
Such is life.
She had a vague idea that he existed prior to this as the day before she'd witnessed Saki sever everyone's "fates" and that something gave him the power to do that. Now she met him.
The second meeting somehow was worse, given that Sojourn decided to wear her dad's face after him imitating Akiros was too uncanny for Eliese. He explained that he once ruled another dimension as a god-king and didn't think that was the "right approach". Eliese's discomfort with the situation was obvious enough that he gave up on trying to persuade Eliese.
All she wanted was a little clarity on what his ideals were. Instead she got ominous looming over her shoulder.
In his "defense" he has. Absolutely no idea why mortals do what they do. So he's trying to be reassuring and failing miserably
But now he's not in her head/can't exert any control over her anymore so that's nice.
She'd kinda resigned herself to dealing with his presence and had... come to an understanding? With him? She wasn't really comfortable but could live with it. And now she doesn't need to so W
He's currently residing as a caretaker at the orphanage so maybe we're rehabilitating him lmao
