⊰♛⊱ “Yeah, just been too deep in old habits.” It almost seemed he was considering just keeping awake for longer periods of time, he needed to get use to being awake again instead of going back and forth between his deep slumber. Yes, he might not have much to do anymore, but that didn’t mean he should allow himself to fall complacent with his duties and everything. Hopefully he can fix this soon; to just fall asleep for a healthy length instead of past what one would call normal. It’s honestly a wonder he hasn’t died again in his sleep.
Old habits . . . was he insisting to calling this pattern of sleeping too frequently as a habit? They ordinarily reflected on the consumption of being fully active to a given action or item in question. However, the detective couldn't dismiss his sleeping patterns to be a habit. Something that was a prime example of a true habit was her formal tongue. Aside from that line of thinking, a sigh escaped her lips before handing something for the male. "Please accept it." There wasn't much the detective could comment in regards to his words but think of another method to stray away that subject. I wonder what on earth had transpired to conclude with these rests . . . I'll ask another time . . . , thought the detective. Right now, she was admitting [secretly] to missing his presence. Of course, there's no way that she could confess to that statement. He may eventually figure it out on his own considering his levels of providing a decent conversation were . . . equivalent to that of her Senpai.
"We may need to work on keeping you awake. I hear getting involved with other matters may assist in this dilemma, Yuuki-san. If not, perhaps I could offer an alternative solution." It may b a little unlike her to admit this but . . . "Why not accompany me throughout a few cases? It'd be nice to converse with someone who provides a unique conversation. Of course, I don't expect a response too quickly and wish for you to think about it carefully. After all, everyone in life must make decisions though reflect on the possible consequences that may lead to an unexpected route."
