The great thing about Hope's Peaks Academy is that whenever you think you're done knowing all there is to know about it, you find out there's about one more thing you have no idea about.
Last time, Komaeda had discovered that the food in the convenience store near the dorms couldn't really be found outside campus. The time before that, something about how the fountain was secretly cleaned every night so that the water would always look clean.
And the time before that, something about a section for the 'reserve students'.
Someone in main campus isn't supposed to be associated with that, but Komaeda is not one of them entirely, so he takes his liberty with investigations and scouting. Skipping classes isn't a big deal for someone who isn't a real student, anyways. Even if he's wearing his brown uniform under the usual green coat.
When he gets to the section for the reserves, he decides to drop by a grassy area, tired from the long walk from an end of the school to the other. It wasn't difficult to reach the area, but it didn't take out how outcast it was from everything else. He finds himself sitting down at the grass, watching as students who looked specially ordinary shuffled in and out of the buildings, wondering what exactly drew him there that specific day.
Could it be luck?
