my ideal job would be being "the guy that knows" at a supermarket or other retail location.
I would wander around the store, recogniseable by the customers. They ask me a question on where a product is. I effortlessly direct them to it. I do this all day. My mental map of the store potent and always up to date. No we've been out of that item since yesterday sorry. Yes we just got a new shipment of that and it should be actively being stocked over there. That item has been recalled. Thats in that corner on eye-level height.
And everyone would love me because i find their products and Know.
the most important part in life is to have friends who are studying because you can ask them to get you research pdfs for your little autistic adventures
being poly is very funny because you'd think you wouldn't have the "territorial" aspect of a monogamous relationship but no its just that now it overlaps to multiple people this is my dragon's hoard of lovers and I will kill anyone that unexpectedly wanders into my lair lest they steal away the multitudes
i love that humans can scoop humans are so made for making scooping motions with their hands and then we went "yo what if we got even better at scooping" and we made spoons
y are so many cat toys laced with catnip can i have some normal fucking cat toys for once?
its so funny having a job and like since im new everyone asks me how i feel about it and any time someone goes "oh yeah that task sucks" and i go "oh i dont mind :D It's hard but its doable!!" and they get so confused that I dont go to my work with mild disdain for having to go to work.
I think im an odd outlier at my work where I am genuinely very pleased with everything I do and while there's some tasks i like less I do not hate any of them. Sorting the freezer sucks because its heavy but I love working out my muscle. Separating products for the next day is a lot of mental counting but its fun to tick the boxes off of the system. Cutting bread is fun in general! Stocking the shelves of my department is fun because I get to get into the zone. Cleaning things is fun because I like how stark the difference is between clean and unclean so it becomes very satisfying.
The only time that i dread going to work is if i work a morning shift but even that is mostly solved by my manager doing her best to only put me in morning shifts if they really need people.
jonathan harker you saucy little harlot you've enthralled me in your pathetic journal entries and now I cannot stop thinking about it
