Currently Reading: nothing rn but I just finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid (really, really enjoyable read)

Hoping that because he doesn’t have the whole Tory party behind him and what he’s promised to do is basically impossible so he’s set himself up to fail, that he won’t last long. We’ll see! 

in the late 80s Johnson had a journalism grad job up north, and he shared a flat with my uncle (both in their early twenties.) my uncle thought he was so rude and his politics so awful that when they got in an argument one evening (don’t know over what, BJ just being himself is enough) that my uncle decked him and moved out the next day. iconic tbh
