Lou had swung by the hardware store to grab something for one of the locks at the barn, and she’d just barely gotten herself out of a conversation with none other than Bobby Morris when she was headed out the door and nearly ran right into Ellie Mae. Talking with her boyfriend’s family was entirely too fun for Lou. She loved every single one of Nick’s family members, his little sister included. “Ellie Mae, you beautiful ray of sunlight,” she said, extending both of her arms out wide before pulling the brunette into a hug. “How have you been?
