Hey there, y’all! It’s time for EllinghamHQ’s first task, and since it’s our first one, I thought I’d make it more aimed towards character development, as that could maybe help us all get to know each other’s characters better! There are three sections to this task, and you’re welcome to do them all, or just some of them! Or even none altogether, as this task is optional! I highly recommend doing section three if you’re thinking of asking for a personality gif set in exchange for your points eventually, though! Just saying! Please make sure to tag your posts regarding this task as #ellingham:task01 if you do end up doing it, and yes! Under the cut, you’ll find the three sections of the task!
SECTION 01. APPEARANCE.
I know that all of our characters have faceclaims, but it’s always fun to hear a little more about the appearances of various characters! Therefore, if you’re up for it, please answer the following questions regarding your character's appearance! I recommend responding to those questions out of character, as the answers might be more honest than if someone were to answer about their own appearance, but if you want to twist the questions a little bit and answer them in character, that’s also completely fine!
ATTRACTIVENESS. Talk a lil bit about your character’s attractiveness. For example, how would you rate them on a scale from one to them? Do they find themselves attractive? Do you think other characters will find them attractive? What kind of people do you think tend to find them attractive? What kind of people do they find attractive?
HEIGHT. I am...... Very curious about characters’ heights, and would love to know how tall your character is, and how they deal with that. For example, if they’re tall, do they like that? Do they wish they were shorter? Do they like being taller than most people? When it comes to flirting and what not, do they feel like their height plays for or against them? Does height matter to them when it comes to the people they’re attracted too?
TATTOOS & PIERCINGS. Do they have any tattoos or piercings? If so, what are they? And is there a particular reason why they have them? Do they like tattoos and piercings in general, on other people or on themselves? Did they ever get any tattoos or piercings they ended up regretting? Do they find tattoos and piercings attractive?
GROWING UP. Was growing up tough, appearance-wise? Were they confident or insecure about their own appearance in their younger years? Were they tall, and then suddenly stopped growing at a certain height? Or were they short until they suddenly had a growth spurt? Or were they always short or tall? Basically, how did their general appearance affect them whilst they were growing up?
SECTION 02. RELATIONSHIPS.
I know we’re all still plotting and what not, but I’d love to hear a little more about your characters’ relationships with other people, whether they be current taken characters, NPCs or wanted connections! Who knows, this might even give you ideas for wanted connections and what not! And if you want to do some more plotting before doing this section, that’s totally understandable!
SECTION 03. PERSONALITY TYPES.
I’d love to hear which personality types fit your characters best! Here are some websites that could help you find those, and if you want to develop on each of them, that’d be great, though it’s not necessary!
