Elliot teaching Robert how to camouflage in his cat form...and Robert not really getting it but he's trying!
Dispatch AU where everything is the same except Shroud/Elliot is Robert’s dad (specifically Robbie’s husband) and post-Shroud’s arrest he keeps breaking out of jail and going to Robert’s apartment like
Elliot, on Robert’s balcony: son, I’m sorry, please just let me in
Robert: Dad this is the 12th time this month you’ve broken out of jail
Elliot: And?
Robert: ITS THE 7TH
Elliot: Just let me in
Robert: *shuts the door in his face and closes the blinds*
Au where Elliot didn't kill Robbie he grabbed the astral pulse and snuck out in the night holding Robert. Something in his head told him this would hurt him more knowing his son loves him more then he ever did.
Absolute perfection, taking the most important parts of the Mecha Man legacy- the power source and the future of it- is more of a punishment than killing Robbie.
I feel like Robbie, Mr. Father Of The Year, would notice the astral pulse is missing first and not even think of Robert. He doesn't realize Robert's gone until he's looking for the pulse and he notices how empty the house is all of a sudden.
He makes a missing person report because that's what you're SUPPOSED to do, but he considers finding the pulse way more important than finding his son. Besides, he already suspects who took them, it's just a matter of finding the suspect to get them back.
Meanwhile, this opens up the door for Robert to be raised as a villain! Elliot gives Robert the childhood he never had with Robbie's training getting in the way, and Robert chooses to help Elliot when he gets older, rather than be part of the family legacy he was born into and had no choice in.
I MADE SHROUD IN TOMODACHI LIFE LIVING THE DREAM
Here he is! In his little shithole of a home.
It’s got a toilet and a sink too.
Here’s the outside! Cozy, private, contained.
His own little island of sorts!
He even has a piggy playground ride for entertainment!
But what does he eat or drink? I’m glad you asked! So far he’s had a diet consisting of pickles and sauerkraut but he’s got two specials just for him!
First up
Shroud’s Mystery Prison Soup! What’s in it? Don’t worry ‘bout it.
He actually doesn’t like it but eh, what can you do?
Second up is drinks!
Yep! That’s lead alright!
He also doesn’t like it.
Let’s visit the neighbors!
If you ignore the piss stained headstone that is one “Robbie Robertson the II’s” grave it’s actually a peaceful spot.
Shroud/Elliot knew Robert as a kid. Was probably very familiar with him considering how it seems to be pretty common for the Brave Brigade to just hang out in their off time.
And watching the scenes at the bar with him and Robert....
Idk how to describe the feeling I get from it tbh 😭😭
Like, idk, is there someone out there who understands what I'm trying to put out there? Like— *gestures vaguely to the whole bar scene and their history*
Yall get it right? RIGHT!?!?!?
Dispatch Fic Prompt #02
Canon AU - Villian/Vigilante Robert
As a kid, Robert's dad neglected him in favour of putting all his energy into being Mecha Man and a part of The Brave Brigade (which is basically canon from the comics). As a result, Robert hates the suit and refuses to take up the mantle of Mecha Man when his father is killed by Elliot (Eli/Shroud).
Members of the Brave Brigade pester him to take up the mantle but he's only 16! He doesn't fucking want it.
He liked Eli when he was a kid - he'd always made the effort to at least acknowledge Robert... unlike his father most of the time. And if Eli hadn't been the one to murder his dad, he probably would have given him the pulse...
Instead, Robert takes the pulse and sells everything, using his inheritence to basically pull a Bruce Wayne (Batman), and become a new kind of vigilante.
Maybe Robert makes his money by selling the renewable energy from the pulse.
Maybe Robert becomes a villian instead of a vigilante.
Maybe Robert is captured by police and sent to prison for his crimes (general villian shit or vigilante justice)
Maybe he joins the z-team as a member instead of a dispatcher, but he's smarter than the fuckin' retired heroes they get for dispatchers, so Robert ends up leading the team. Chase then gets called on to keep Robert in line (since Robert is keeping the rest of the z-team on track).
Do you guys like my chud Shroud mii (ft. My evil villain robert who's a sick FREAK)
Okay! I decided to post my take on one of the most mysterious people in Dispatch. Bobby Robertson's wife, mother of Robbie Robertson and grandmother of Robert Robertson the 3rd.
I decided she was a Korean Immigrant named Narae, she was a villainess called Flare Up by the Los Angels police. Her powers are Plasma Generation and Control. She started to fall in love with Bobby hard when he took his hat off and told her she was the most beautiful woman he ever met.
Their first date was fish and chips on the dock. Bobby later asked her to dance and tried to get her things she missed from Korea. She has a hard time managing her emotions thanks to her power. The plasma flaring in time with her wrath. Most fights they got into during their dates were started by her. Bobby just is happy to help back her up.
She was very strict with Robbie growing up because they didn't know if Robbie would inherit her powers or not. She didn't unlock hers until she was 19 years old, so she wanted to make sure he had complete control over himself. Unfortunately, that caution will get twisted later on by Robbie.
She was imprisoned after Bobby's death, her grief causing her power to flare out of control resulting in the near destruction of the West Coast. They couldn't kill her, but they used the fail safe she had Bobby make just in case her power went out of control. She still trapped inside it. Alive. And her grief for her husband has dulled. But she has no idea her son is dead and her grandson is in a coma. Shroud better hope she never finds out. Or else he'll learn what the wrath of a sun feels like.
