working on elliot enchanted FINALLY again unfortunately i think i am reaching the point where i suddenly hate everything i add to a story and need it to be Done.

in the elliot enchanted au elliot does have 3 dolls at the foot of his bed like ella but unlike ella he has full fledged debates w them for lack of friends who share his interests. he also spent a lot of time looking into the mirror and ordering himself to not listen to orders when he was 12 i’ve decided. so the movie solution of oh i said dont obey orders to the mirror and im cured now would not work sorry. also they have a big Room in the house that was intended for parties and stuff and he used to use it when he was 10 to try and build Machines. flying machine printing press etc. you know he heard about printing presses and IMMEDIATELY set out to make one. doubt he ever succeeded but he did have some fun with it. and since hes afraid of horses but also in charge of caring for their 3 horses he talks to them nervously the whole time like “if you kick me while i’m brushing you thats a choice that will alter your life forever because if i die from a kick in the head they wont find my body for days and then who will take care of YOU for all that time huh? so it would be very wise to keep your legs AND TEETH to yourself. please.”
