Some separate layers from my piece of Rocky and Adrian because I think they look silly

I got into marbled paper recently, so I figured that there was no better use for it than to give Rocky some textures!

Bonus: Here’s what all the paper looked like before I put it in and edited it!

I took a couple photos, both of which I edited to add color. (I tried to use a marker to “stain” it a reddish color physically, but it just smudged off so I just overlayed the color digitally.)

I didn’t actually take any pictures while I was assembling the body (whoops), but here you can see I sketched out Nine and used my sketch as a guide for the size of the materials I used. I glued part of some plastic packaging to the back of some cardboard for the main piece, and cut down paperclips and wire for the… I’m actually not sure what they are.

Extra Details:

- The background is some wrapping paper I think was used on a small box of chocolates. The metallic confetti look seemed appropriate enough to be an abstract representation of space.

- Three of the wirey pieces were cut from the same paperclip, one is from a different, thinner paperclip, and the last was cut down from a wire I took from a take-out container.

- I tried to “sand down” the plastic and cardboard I used so they would adhere better with the glue paste I was using, but they were both a bit too smooth to properly stick. In the end, I couldn’t even figure out how to attach the wires, so I just arranged them, took some pictures, and called it a day! (Although I am considering making little collages for Ten and JUICE as well. I think it would be hilarious if I used the inward side of a juice box to make JUICE.)

- Lastly, there were a lot of tiny scraps I made while cutting things out, and generally a big (small?) mess, which I now have to clean up.
