Day 229-2021: This week was tough. Feliks and Elon crossed the Rainbow Bridge just a week from each other. As we go through what transpired in just almost two months that they've been with us, we were kind of surprised of the many things we've done. We got professional interior designers to redesign our home around them. We got our 11-year-old car finally repaired with customizations for them. We bought a lot of stuff for them (and some are still just for delivery). But more than the material things, the biggest change for us has been behavioral; we were more patient, observant, and forgiving not just with them but with each other. There had been tremendous new learning on how to take care of fur babies. It is a shame that Elon and Feliks were casualties of late knowledge. But it would also be a shame if we don't put to good use the knowledge that we have gained. So, yes, we will re-open our home to new babies by next year when our home is again ready. For now, we will just dream of their tiny paws as #ElonAndFeliks jump on our bed at 3:00am. #Life365 https://www.instagram.com/p/CSqTTISJnXh/?utm_medium=tumblr
