they are but only just to make them Nice and Shiny.  the colour is all natural :)

i have never seen a rabbit kit's junk before and i absolutely would have judged this kit as a boy if you hadn't said otherwise lol

FUN FACT!  unless you’re dealing with adult male rabbits and you’re lucky, you cannot sex rabbits externally!  you have to get your hands in there and “pop” them, a lot like snakes.

unneutered adult bucks will have testicles, but they can draw them back inside the body cavity at will, and usually do this when they’re uncomfortable (ie being flipped,) or it’s particularly cold, so it’s super easy to miss them.  longhair breeds of course can hide the balls in the fluff.  unless a doe is currently nursing or just weaned a litter, there’s absolutely no way to tell her sex without popping her.

one of these is a buck and one is a doe.  which one?  you literally can’t tell.
