A self-proclaimed adventurer by trade ( among other embellished monikers bestowed upon by himself ), this bright-haired bandit proffers his sword-arm for any looking to hire armed steel. Though any bargain reached with him bears the risk of leaving one’s pockets emptier than intended, and their dignity wounded— for what highwayman worth his britches is expected to honor his word?

Hey, a second commission sharing post in one day? It’s more likely than you’d think. This one is by the artist Sinizade on Twitter (you can scan the QR Code, or click HERE!), and it features Abigail and Olivia on an in-universe magazine cover promoting their first single off of their upcoming third album. The song is called “Not Your Nymphet!” and is loosely based on the novel “Lolita” by Vladimir Nabokov, but it’s sung from the perspective of Dolores Haze. I went into this whole thing with the idea of the song, and Sinizade helped bring the vague elements (like the broken iconography of the movie versions of the book) into a proper cover image. I wasn’t even sure about the angle she chose, but it ended up looking stellar in my opinion. I actually wanted to make something involving this concept for a while, but didn’t think I’d commission a magazine cover. It forced me to make the band name (VANDOLLZ), and the name of a publication in universe (Guerilla Radio), and to properly name the song and album (”Not Your Nymphet!” and “Burnt Books Make Burnt People” respectively). I just wanted to make something like an album cover with the imagery of the broken Sunglasses, Lollipop, and Scrunchie... as if they were broken by Dolores herself. I’m going on and on about what this is because I put a lot of thought into the symbolism and the meaning behind the song, and the album name. The song is because a lot of people don’t really get the point of Lolita, at least in my view, and I wanted to focus on the fact that Dolores was a victim in the story, and how stuff like the Sunglasses symbolize the skewed view of the story. The Album Title came about because of the quote  "Where they burn books, so too will they in the end burn people" by German writer Heinrich Heine. He was a writer that would later have his own work burned by Nazis, save for a single poem that would be republished without his name attached by the Nazis. It struck me as a good quote. I have a few more ideas based on banned/challenged books that factor into the album, though some of those books will be more contested than others. They’ll usually have some sort of spin on them though. I actually have a second commission from Sinizade in the works right now, so look forward to that if you like this one, and go follow her on her socials.

And sometimes, it does not work out well in your favour. It is how you react to that, how you adjust yourself and your people as you see fit to accommodate for what's going on.. THAT is what determines whether you have failed or not. Instead of losing your head, you stayed on mission. Gathered the intelligence for us to analyze and plan for an operation to find our people. You kept your juniors on track. Made sure that those who were not taken, returned and sought medical help. Had you sent them further into the woods, we may have lost more than just Sundershade and the Captain. Your judgement ensured the safety of those remaining, despite terrible circumstances. And THAT is why you have not failed.

Character Basics - Inu’era

Name: Lauren “Inu’era” Thomas Age: 26 Race: Demon Home: Elwynn Forest, Goldshire PC Associations: Sai’lyn; Alice Ward; Olivia Lovecraft; Karrista Profession: Baker Hobbies: Painting; Reading; Murder Likeness: Shirley Manson Style: Mid class peasantry.  Tunics, long woolen skirts

Bio Lauren spent most of her young adult life living with her fiancee and her father in his modest townhouse in Goldshire.  She worked as a baker, making goods to be sold at local farmers market to help supplement the family income.

Her life took a few wild swings when she ran afoul of bandits deep in Elwynn’s eastern woods, was saved, and then not long after had the demon Sai’lyn sent after her to end her life.  She still doesn’t understand why Sai was sent after her, or by who, but she intrigued the Demon when rather than cowering and accepting death, instead offered her fiance and father as sacrifice in exchange for her life.

Sai’lyn took Lauren on as her apprentice, infusing her with the corruption of her blood, slowly and painfully converting her to a demon.  No longer human, the now fledgling Demoness is Sai’s ever present shadow, learning everything she can from the elder demon that created her, and nose deep in books and history.  Every day she learns more and more the differences in reality between her new existence and the stories preached to her by minsters of the Light during weekly trips to Northshire.

She has now wholly abandoned the name Lauren and her former identity, having taken on her demonic name of Inu’era, and when guised as a mortal to conduct day to day business, uses the cover name of Jennifer.

Meeting Inu’era Goldshire Farmer’s Market: Inu still occasionally distributes baked goods at the Goldshire farmers markets.  Even with her newly demonic nature, her mortality remains close enough at hand that her habits of baking and selling still bring her comfort.

Missing Persons: Sai has done an excellent job of teaching Inu’era to hunt safely, but she’s still created a few missing persons cases in Stormwind and surrounding areas.  Her targets aim at those who won’t be missed, but she’s not a flawless hunter.

Demonic Presence: She, like most demons, can hide herself amongst mortals, disguised as one of them.  However she has no protection against the senses of an Illidari nor the skills of a Warlock that might alert them to her nature.  Nor does she have the age and practice of most Demons at evading those dangers.

The three protagonists of a new story arc in Elwynn.

Julian (lower left) is the child of Imri and Adalena from The Witch and the Wizard, while Roland (lower right) is the son of Lynx, Jaime and lil Rowan. The two of them grow up together in a small village as outcasts, being the descendants of the god of love. People either revere them or fear them as fey creatures. The latter is mostly thanks to Noah (top middle), who bullied the two of them, ostracized them for their heritage and generally spread nasty rumors about them to get the rest of the village to fear their fey ancestry, too.

Then one day the three of them accidentally cross into the faerie realm in the midst of an argument, where they become lost and unable to find their way home. They have to work together despite their history and Noah ends up discovering he isn’t exactly human, either, and may be more fey than either of them.

Although school has started up again, I’m still quite low on money, so commissions are still open! Message me if you’re interested. :D

As she approached the house after the initial shock that the address had led her to the place, she pulled a face, not usually so judgemental, but also growing a bit more concerned about where El was staying. Crossing the forest-like front yard, she stepped over twigs and branches before finally reaching the front door. “El? Elwynn?” She called out as she knocked precisely, albeit rather softly for fear of breaking the seemingly thin door. “Please tell me you’re here.”
