I’m just going to rant on here because I’m not too comfortable talking in DM. You don’t need to respond by the way! You can just read my mini rant. Anyway, I just find it odd that left tries to make it seem as if they haven’t forced the idea that Brent is asexual or try to push it on other people. Like just because the dude doesn’t like talking about boobs and such doesn’t automatically make him asexual, he’s just awkward. I aware that they have stated that it doesn’t automatically make him asexual, but that doesn’t change the fact that they continue to push that he is. The one thing that gets me as they when Brent was playing dragon quest, left gave a donation and asked Brent if he was asexual. He read it and said no. This should have been the end of it, right? Nope, instead left was upset that Brent didn’t end up being asexual and was voicing her disappointment in that discord server.
That stream was November of last year at the 1:20:00 mark and you can still find it on YouTube with that one channel that uploads the old vods.
Even with Brent saying he isn’t. When some made that moodboard(?) of Brent being asexual, left had the audacity to say

Like what??? I thought you said and I quote, “that said, none of us ever stated it as a fact or did anything that could be considered “forcing an orientation onto someone.”
Maybe you didn’t do the first part, but you have did do the second half.

I got my hands on the donation-part you mentioned - (Because proof is always important. That's not to say I didn't believe your words; I simply wanted to see the clip for myself and show it to those who might not have known about this <3) - and I'll gladly share it and Brent's clear answer to Left's question regarding if he's asexual or not. I'm just gonna add my thoughts to your ask here:
"He's just awkward" - exactly. That's it. But like you stated, Lefty really seems to have pushed this fact beyond boundaries that should've been the bare minimum of respect for a person you don't know in real life. This is very noticeable by everything you stated and Left's tags that you mentioned. Brent is a YouTuber, and we'll never fully know how he acts outside of his videos and tweets. Pushing the thought of a sexuality onto someone you don't know like Left did is wrong. Nothing else to say.
It's truly disrespectful (and I might even say: disgusting) of Lefty, that even after the donation and asking Brent directly about being asexual, and him saying "no" - she still went on literally "crying about it"(my wording!!!) in her server. That's also crossing a line that should be seen as the bare minimum.
I don't want to imagine how she "voiced her disappointment" - because she absolutely had no right to be 'disappointed' at something very PERSONAL Brent clarified. You accept his answer and move on with your day. There's nothing you should be adding to a clear "no" - not even asking "why?" Would be appropriate in this situation (which I know left didn't do, I'm just adding this to prove how stupid it is to go on a ramble about something that's been clearly answered. What was she trying to achieve? Did she imagine she could change his fcking mind?)
Brent's crashout was not him simply hating and insulting his community, it was him ranting about how people don't respect him and his wishes. Wishes - Boundaries - that he had very clearly stated. He was angry because certain people (Lefty here in particular) crossed a line that was straight up violating the simple rule of respecting his serious wishes.
