So I really don’t like how Annabel is portrayed in the flashbacks. I don’t know how I didn’t notice earlier but the last panel of today’s chapter made me feel so…ugh…

Why is Annabel acting like this? I know Lenore and Annabel can’t really be public about their relationship but even when they’re in private she acts so tsundere-ish it’s weird.

Annabel does NOT act like this with Lenore. And I know Nevermore’s circumstances are different and Annabel’s free from the whole having to marry someone thing but STILL.

It pisses me off SO MUCH, Annabel is a grown, intelligent and straightforward woman, she would not waste her time playing this "it’s not like I like you" bullshit persona. Why is she even acting like that in public or in private????? Both her and Lenore know they have something between one another, she gains nothing from pretending to not like Lenore’s advances especially when they’re in private.

It feels like Annabel just gets lobotomies whenever she’s with Lenore so we can see just how charming and hot Lenore is(like this entire fandom isn’t thirsting over her already…) like I didn’t mind Lenore flirting but Annabel’s reaction is so out of character??

Now, Annabel not fully trusting in Lenore and her plan is understandable, but she should be stressed about how things could go wrong for her and especially for Lenore. And ALSO she should be mad at Lenore for this party stuff that will bring traction and bigger the chance of Lenore’s cover being blown, if any of the Vandernacht’s family friends come it’s over. Annabel should be actually mad and not just acting like a tsundere…
