Sorry for what?? You did! The word "betrothed" didn't come out but don't pretend that Lenore didn't know about Ira's backup option for his daughter.

It's not Annabel`s fault Lenore underestimated how serious her words and suitor`s intentions were and it's not Annabel`s fault that Wesley followed her across the Atlantic. He shouldn't be here in the first place! Annabel shouldn't have warned about him any more than she already said!

Why are they both suddenly acting like Annabel hasn't talked about it? Yes Lenore looks distracted in the second frame but even if she missed it that's no reason for Annabel to apologize. I mean FOR WHAT.

Lenore as Ada Wong, pretty rough but thought I'd it post regardless

Lenore is so petty in this chapter when you remember how her story began. When her father tried to marry her off to a guy she didn't like she ran away from home in a storm and that's what led to her being locked up in the attic. Now she sees a girl who plays her role better but is still unhappy and instead of sympathizing, Lenore gloats. One of them is a songbird in a golden cage, the other is a clipped bird and they are both captured.

"I tried to fight and lost but you're no better and you can be in my shoes at any moment no matter how hard you try"

Oh of course Lenore gives her a choice but she implies that her plan is the right one. Of course Lenore wants to save Annabel but she also doesn't want to be alone in her 'madness'. Having a friend around helps her believe it wasn't all in vain and they really have a chance (they didn't have a chance but they had each other and after everything Lenore couldn't have dreamed of more)

She says something like that in episode 142.
