Turnabout? Lenore blamed herself for Theo’s death, convinced it would have been better if she had died in the forest instead of him. In the fire she kills Lenore but allows Leo to be born, in whose image her brother lives.

We haven’t yet seen what her “Spite” is like but we can imagine how angry she is at all injustice that befell her and Annabel simply because they are women.
