I am currently working on chapter 5 of The Forest Never Asked. None of your questions will be answered.

More about the streamer AU

Annabel and Prospero live together they’re roommates.

Prospero was originally a med student who went to England because a college there was good enough for him.

And then he met Annabel they became besties and moved in together

He was a bit iffy about her whole streamer thing, mostly because he thought Annabel would be those extremely loud streamers who stream in the middle of the night and as a med student his sleep is very much needed.

Until he learned that Annabel respects his need for sleep and only streams during the day when he’s at college.

When Prospero graduates college he eventually gets tempted to pick up streaming like Annabel does, so when he tells Annabel they go buy the PC and everything he needs to start streaming.

After like a few days Prospero’s like “streaming isn’t that bad.” and starts streaming more frequently.

He mostly watches horrible medical shows on stream to criticize it and laugh at how bad the acting is, but from time to time he plays video games, sometimes streams himself cooking breakfast for whatever reason.

Just for shits and giggles the two do interrupt each others streams, it’s usually for gossip though so if Annabel or prospero find out something juicy they sprint into the other persons streaming room and starts spilling the tea and the viewers watch as they do that.

Prospero still wears his gloves considering he is a huge germaphobe and would rather not touch gross things, his viewers took notice of that and send him packages of gloves through his mailbox so he could always have more on hand, that makes him very happy.

Nevermore(the webtoon as we know it) in this universe is actually a Annabel/Lenore fanfiction series that got insanely popular. On every stream people ask Annabel to read it live and every time she’s like "I’m not doing that."

this whole shipping thing actually got Lenore way more attention than she’d thought she’d ever have on the internet

Annabel would NOT touch that fanfic at all, I feel like her viewers would send links in the chat and get her to click it only for Annabel to already know it’s the link to the damn fan fiction.

I absolutely think Lenore would get SO MUCH attention from the fan fiction and shipping but she probably hasn’t read it and or heard of it so people join her live making references to the fanfic and Lenore doesn’t know what their talking about so she spends half an hour talking about how she didn’t commit arson and how they’re lying about that.

Annabel, bristling like a cat in a corner, lashing out about Lenore's 'madness', even maybe calling her outright a ghost, a nightmare. She's a dead woman walking.

HYDE: This is not a dream, my friend - And it will never end! This one is the nightmare that goes on!

Lenore reminding her of what awaits her if she doesn't do something about it. Annabel said it herself, she can't try to hide now just because she's scared of the unknown.

Hyde is here to stay, No matter what you may pretend - And He'll flourish, long after you're gone!

Once again reminding Annabel that Lenore KNOWS her, and also cruelly telling her that Lenore doesn't NEED to be here, that she can leave Annabel to her fate and live a life of freedom without her.

JEKYLL: Soon you will die, And my memory will hide you! You cannot choose but to lose control.

Annabel rebutting that Lenore doesn't actually have a plan, just empty promises and bravado. Maybe she drops the cottage fire here, calling her a murderer.

HYDE: You can't control me! I live deep inside you! Each day you'll feel me devour your soul!

Annabel pulling out the card that Lenore is only here thanks to HER good graces and HER silence, and if Annabel so chose she could put an end to this charade of hers.

HYDE: I'll live inside you forever!

Lenore laughing at her because if Annabel actually wanted to do that, if she could even stomach thinking of doing that to her, she would have already done it.

JEKYLL: No! HYDE: With Satan himself by my side! JEKYLL: No!
