Well, it's only taken a year and a half but Mick + Emily's Golden Colorado wedding is freshy-fresh up on my blog this glorious Monday morning. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I freaking LOVED their wedding - they had this awesome neon sign that I wanted to steal (I didn't, but I wanted to!) and they had one of the best horas we've ever photographed. They had the most incredible views of the Continental Divide for their ceremony, and the rain held off just long enough for them to tie the knot outside on the deck. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Basically, their wedding was totally rad and you should go check it out ... and pin your favorites. With earlier sunsets in the fall and winter, Randy is super stoked to be able to do some more dramatic photos like this! Don't get us wrong, we still love our natural light portraits but man-oh-man, you gotta admit - it's fun to get creative and challenge ourselves to make epic portraits when there's no natural light left in the day! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ To create this shot, Randy used two off camera flashes - one directly behind the couple and one off the left of the couple up front.
