The determination of proper segments in a person is due for some analysis. Working on his own project sent the doctorate study off to survey a working medical procedure. Always with a knack for watchers it is the best way to learn. Students are always accustomed to the live performance of surgery, autopsy and beyond. This would be an interesting case. Far more interesting as it will lead him away from to a great feat in the end.

Connor hoped it would. All his hard work remained private this far. He had yet to physically put together his project. This is the starting point.

He noted the examiner today. A woman working the field. Women have come a long way. He is appreciative to see more of them entering the world of science and medicine. Unfortunately for him his calculations and planning are not beneficial. They would never be in the eyes of those who don't understand. That is why he keeps his reasons being here to himself.

* VIOLENT ACTION STARTERS

Jade’s focus had entirely surrounded a scene she had to sweep over. Crouching down in the alleyway where residual matter of their victim sat in several places, she recorded and collected at each marker. One situated near a dumpster in the tight space. Narrowing the area more it did make for a slim escape. Their suspect certainly took advantage of its existence. Blood splatter remained near the bottom, seemingly where the head struck before it was stomped in.

Before the body had been removed initial report indicated blunt force trauma. Multiple severe contusions, broken nose and busted teeth. A frenzy. Brutal.

She shivered a little but used a pair of tweezers to remove hair matted into the dark splat of blood. Carefully sliding it into her baggie, Jade shifted towards the other number two marker only to stop abruptly.

A small figure had entered their scene. Police were out in the street from the DPD cordoning things off but she must have come from the opposite direction. Meaning a back escape through that fence is there.

Jade jerked back at the knife in the little girl's hand. A sight she didn't prepare for in the least. ".... hey, what are you doing?" She lifted one of her hands, the glove she wore to do her work soiled from the gore on the ground. "You'll hurt yourself with that. You shouldn't be here like this."

Movie roles come from various  mediums. At times those are adaptations of works in the form of literature, audio drama and beyond. This one given to him by his studio is interesting in it’s own at the original source material. True crime author Olivia Cruz is someone who has been on his desk before. He has read a few of her books. 

Now he found himself meeting with her in person for potentials in movie making. While the executives were busy pitching their full deal, Callum took in the pre production party as he usually does. All the signs are there. The drinks. The important studio people. The atmosphere of a sophisticated elite hearkening back to the golden age. They try to. He thinks they need to make more of the epics of that era. Bring a sense of their pioneers back but who he is to say. He’s just the actor. He steps into the roles. 

One such role he found interest in dealt with the accused. A great dramatic role. He has done drama before. A few thrillers. Mainly Callum has seen adventure roles with a sprinkle of romance among them. This is just the thing he is looking to take on. 

Callum’s smile brightened as he extended a hand to the author. His trademark. A hot topic for discussion when he’d prefer they talk about his performances. “It’s good to meet you, Ms Cruz. I’ve read several of your books so I am really honored to make your acquaintance.”

North is standing next to an android polar bear. Poor thing is in need of repairs. She pats its head. "Hey, Simon! Look! I found us a mascot!" Maybe she can ride it into battle!

Seeing the polar bear and North’s expression, Simon took a deep breath, hands raised like a prayer, and then pointed them at her. “What part of non-threatening do you not understand, honey?”

His first thought is where is this child’s parent or caretaker. The next thought is why does she have a knife in her boot?! Did he need to teach people that it was dangerous to give weapons to children?!

“Sweetie, aren’t you a bit young to be keeping weapons in your boot?” Simon tries to keep his voice calm but he’s a bit worried for this child. “Where are your caretakers?”

A toddler Mayson is screaming in North's arms. North holds the boy out to Simon. "I believe this belongs to you."

Simon immediately went into overprotective dad mode and gently took his child to hold him close. “Hey, hey. It’s okay, baby.” He looked up at his friend in confusion and a little bit of that protectiveness in his eyes. “What happened? Why is my baby so upset?”

Simon can’t help but frown at that. Why would his father be mad at him? Aside from talking to a stranger.

“Why would your daddy be mad, sweetie? Is it because doesn’t know me? I can understand he’d be worried for your safety.”

Uh oh Sodapop has found where the Andersons store their chocolate cake. He helps himself while stopping in to see his friend Billy. "So this Hank guy is the real deal huh?" Soda says mouth full of cake. - Sodapop @embraced-chaos

Billy rolled his eyes as his friend just helped himself to the cake. Not that he really minds; it’s an easy enough recipe to just remake it later. “Help yourself, dick. And yeah. He’s the real deal. A good dad.. and a good cop, believe it or not.”
