Sharing my staghorn fern for #embraceplants - hosted by my fellow Canadian 🇨🇦🌿 plant-friends @jrlefrancois and @studioplants. - 📷 2) The plant as it was back in my September 2015 profile picture. Since then, I re-mounted it and the latest fertile fronds have developed spores (dark brown patches on the undersides). Caring for this specimen has taught me to also embrace nature - at first, it was hard to watch fronds turn yellow and fall off.
