Blackwork embroidery is FUN! :D I've been working on this on and off since around thanksgiving -- because I was looking for THE TINIEST knitting needles, I ended up diving into counted-thread embroidery of various types.

(the squares are from three different sampler patterns by loose thread stitchery on etsy -- their patterns are LOVELY and I highly recommend them, if you want to try this!!!)

Some embroidery on a mask!

Haven't done this in several years lol, but figured why not since I'm currently sick but still okay enough to make it through work today. The mask is a precaution for my other coworkers(one especially 'cause her wife is immunocompromised) and I might as well have fun with it. Wanted to wear my Assassin's Creed mask but it's already dirty from yesterday, so it's this one today lol

#I could probably redo that one on the newer masks I have if I wanted to #that one was done MANY years ago lol #but anyways #embroidery!#very fun and makes it easy to distinguish between the masks I have and haven't worn yet this week #these are literally the reason I picked up embroidery lol #to differentiate my masks when COVID was in full swing and masks were mandatory #I certainly had fun with it!#now it's just a hobby lol

Last summer, I bought a cute 'embroider this bag!' kit! The pattern it came with was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL, so I decided I would do my own thing, and play with colors and symmetry!

It's a very useful little project bag! ^_^
