"You've earned a second chance at life. Pray, spend this one more wisely than robbing passers-by, aye? A man of your talents could be employed with any number of positive pursuits." D'arca pushes his glasses up his nose. "We'll chat at length about your future when I visit you in the stockades. Mind the beasts on your way back.”
The mage, happy to have his life....and quite frankly nothing else, scampers off with his tail between his legs.
D'arca watches him go with a snort. "Hyur." He shakes his head, gathering up the discarded robe. "Emri, you find anything worthwhile on the fallen one's body?"
"..." Hesher smirks and crosses his arms while also being Hyur.
Emerald shrugs, watching him go. "So going into the camp, then? There's only three more of them. We could--oh, I didn't check. Give me a sec, then." She wanders back to pick through the clothes of the armored one. "Do we like, wanna cut any bits off him to make a statement? I'm not against it."
"Don't be barbaric. I'm not going to stride into their camp with the fellow's head on a pike. That aside, we'd lose the element of surprise I'm planning to cultivate so carefully."
Hesher says quietly, "You two would make for terrifying pirates. I don't think we'll be needing to cut anything off.”
Emerald rolls her eyes and mouths "Don't be barbaric" to herself.
D'arca sizes up the robe on himself. A little short, but just about the right fit. "Hesher, how well do you think you could control that bomb?"
"Well enough. " The egi lets go of the bomb, grumbling.
"I have a plot that might give us the edge in the camp." He glances to Emri. "You might not like it."
