steals one of his coats. no biggie.
her attire warrants a squint from him. since when did they have matching coats? surely, she would’ve told him that they owned the same article of clothing, right?
he’s tempted to run back home and slip into his own coat for the sake of amusement before the realization hits. it wouldn’t be possible for them to have the exact same coat. the company that made his went out of business four years ago, not to mention there were details that he added to the jacket himself. his coat had patches ironed onto it, most of them space related in an attempt to create his own nasa flight jacket. those same patches stared back at him from the coat she was currently wearing.
suspicion seeps into his otherwise amused voice. he’s not upset. if anything, he’s embarrassed that it took this long for him to piece everything together.
