Unlike Lance, who was 1000% a mermaid kid, Val never really saw the appeal. In fact, depending on how realistic a mermaid we’re talking about, she sometimes finds them creepy (Ariel is A-okay, if boring. Takeshi Yamada’s taxidermy mermaids? No fucking thank you.) Lance used to tease her about it until she retaliated by roping Lance into her burgeoning obsession with ghosts, haunted houses, and the paranormal.
Hi just thought you should know that Duality is my favorite Voltron fic like EVER and I've hardly made a dent in the finale (I'm only like... <5 scenes in) but I've basically been screaming since I got off work 4 hours ago and realized it was up?? Like before I even started reading it??? I had to mentally prepare myself for THE LAST SIX DAYS AND WHOOOOOOOO BOY YOU NEVER DISAPPOINT. Thank you for Duality. It makes me excited about life again and gives me something to look forward to every week.

Dude I know. I’ve been dealing with this dumb cold for three weeks and literally everyone I know and their mother has it. Its the worst and I’m sorry you’ve caught the plague!
Yeah, it’s that time of year. Blech. Luckily I don’t have it too bad. One day of brain fog and no energy, and now I’m mostly down to the annoying bits--runny nose, little bit of a cough, and the occasional bout of “I just tried to blow my nose but now my ear feels like I wedged a hockey puck in there and nothing helps. lol
On the bright side, I’ve got Duality to distract me today. :)

right now it's mikoshiba from gekkan shoujo nozaki-kun bc i feel him so much abt saying stupid shit and wanting to take it back and just??? but some of my all-time faves include mako mori (pacific rim), danny mahealani (teen wolf), ned the piemaker (pushing daisies) and beverly katz (hannibal)!
2. Where would you like to live irl?
i actually love where i'm living right now (koreatown)! i love having korean food + etc. so close by because imagine if i lived in a white neighborhood like soondae and my haejangguks would be so hard to cook shit

the book thief by markus zusak. i read a few pages again today and i literally shivered because god, i love the morbid beauty of the book
4. Favorite movie/show plot twist?
um. i would like to say hannibal's ending for s2 but it was coming and we all knew it, so....how pacific rim didn't give two fucks about gender roles and made mako so fucking badass?? that was a plot twist for me. i was scared the entire fucking movie that they would pull the gentle asian lady shit and goddamn, did guillermo del toro deliver. he trashed that binary shit down the kaijus' throats. goddamn, i love that man.

i'd check who's there w/ me and/or figure out how to survive while i can build a raft/way home and collect supplies. also, panic and cry a lot

car. i hate the bus so much. planes are cool, but i hate how you have to put your phone in airplane mode or turn it off/buy internet.

Same as yours I think. I'm done March 19th and then I'm taking next quarter off of school. So yeah. Just tell me when.
aah, well good! I'll let you know. I'm volunteering at ECCC the last weekend of break, the 27th through the 30th... other than that I'm not sure yet. I might be getting a new job -- got an interview on tuesday -- and if I get it I'll be working some over break, but I dunno exactly when. I'll tell you when I do♥
