My moms getting insecure about my relationship with her because I didn't tell her I was planning on changing my name at work to Isaac until I already got the name tag, and all I want to do is laugh in her face. She's repeatedly told me she will not respect my pronouns or gender identity until I've "proven myself". Coming out at work and changing my name there was not enough- having my hair cut short is not enough, shopping strictly in the men's section save for costume supplies is not enough, even when I start taking T it will not be enough. She has told me repeatedly that my voice has to change, I have to have facial hair and I need to have top surgery before she'll respect my pronouns. I've told her that hurts me and I feel disrespected when she tells me those things, and yet she still wonders why I don't talk to her anymore.
