“Have you come to collect his soul, reaper?” Aella turns on her heels, noting the feeling of the approaching reaper long before she lays eyes on them. A man lays dead at her feet, but the dryad feels no remorse for her actions. “He intended to set a fire to these trees.” Some land dispute between him and another citizen, that he had determined to solve through an act of violence against the land. A fury had burned through Aella as hot as any flame, and she had made sure that he would be unable to threaten the trees or any others ever again. It is their safety she cares about, not the fate of one horrible man. “Men care so little for the destruction they cause upon this earth, if only to suit their own petty anger. This world is better off without him.” ( @emilyschwcrz )
