He’s gotten really comfortable at the palace and that’s something he never thought would happen. It’s just a really big house, when he’d glimpsed at the other palaces, he thought they were more fortified kind of mansions. While the Palace of Juno is big, something about it is so homey on the inside and he runs into all sorts of people. People like the new senator and when he sees him approaching in the hall, Atticus thinks for a second that he’s supposed to bow. Or would that be too much? He has no idea but what comes out of his mouth is a simple “It’s Emir, right?” in his Southern drawl.
