Jill was the best ghost face.
Prove me wrong
well guess what mother fuckers, Emma Swan is the main character, so OF COURSE this is ultimately her story
The Savior is the main character... shocking...
Emma/Jmo stealing the show... sure... like Katniss/Jlaw stealing The hunger games, right? Or Tris stealing Divergent. Or Harry stealing Harry Potter. Or Frodo stealing The lord of the rings...
I just don't get how anyone can say something like that, complains about Emma's focus ON HER OWN SHOW.
One of the things I always liked about OUAT is that all the main characters have big roles in the story, all of them get at one point the spotlight and the time for the viewer to see why they do what they do, even (especially) they villains. The villains/antiheroes on this show are generally my faves and I love they have a big focus, but no matter how much I love Rumple or Regina, this is Emma's story- she is the savior- she is the main character- she is and will always be the ultimate hero (a gray hero but a hero anyway).
If the writers want to make a season about her relationship with her son, go for it. If the writers want to make a season about her relationship with her parents and her concept of home, go for it. If the writers want to make a season about her friendships, go for it. If the writers want to make a season about her love life and make it epic, GO FOR IT.
Sirius Black is my favorite character on the HP saga. In hp movies Gary Oldman is one of the best things ever (like Alan Rickman or Maggie Smith or Ralph Fiennes or Helena Bonham Carter or Michael Gambon or Jason Isaacs or many of the actors in this cast that are prestigious, talented and multiawarded actors). Do you see or expect one of them being mad about Daniel Radcliffe getting "all the focus"? No. Because is delusional. He is the main character, the hero, they all knew it.
OUAT is not called "Emma Swan" but it's her story. Like THG is not called "Katniss Everdeen" but is her story. The same to Frodo in LotR (do you have complains about Bilbo -or Gandalf- being get behind?). Why in Once is different?
Again, I love Ouat gives all characters an important focus and I want that to continue that way. But if the writers have to sideline a character for the sake of Emma’s stories, they will do it. The fact that people hesitate to take Emma as the main heroine should be sufficient proof for everyone to be satisfied with the focus and screen time the other actors and characters are given.
Stop trying to put the actors against each other, stop trying to make assumptions about their relationship with their bosses and workmates, stop with the idea they secretly hate their jobs. Maybe it's true, maybe it's not. Any way- talk about them as if you knew them and as if it were a fact that they hate Ouat and what their bosses are doing with it, it's rude. And what's the difference? A&E are not going to change the route of what they have on mind for their show. Like it or not, they rule. They don't write the story around an actor. They're influenced, yes, they take advance of their actors' skills and popularity, too- but they write what they think is a better story and what they think it fits with the main themes of the show.
You have critics? Valid, just can we everyone try to make it about the story and characters, not about the cast relationships? I have critics too. Nothing is perfect, nobody is. But we don’t know NOTHING about their lives, and even if we knew it, it’s just inappropriate use that to throw shit on Ouat.
You hate all this? You hate the show? Okay. There is still people who enjoys it. Why do you waste so much time of you life in something you hate so much? I really don't get it. It's even unhealthy for you. Go and find something you love, you're gonna be so much happier.
Will we get to see badass Emma (Jennifer Morrison) of season 1 again?
KITSIS: Absolutely. HOROWITZ: Emma is absolutely badass.
KITSIS: I’ve got to be honest. I feel like Emma’s been pretty much badass for five seasons. I don’t know what season she wasn’t badass. She killed Cruella [Victoria Smurfit]!
HOROWITZ: She’s a tough woman.

TELL THEM, EDDY !
“Emma is a weak character since she’s with Hook”.
I feel like Emma’s been pretty much badass for five seasons. I don’t know what season she wasn’t badass.
“I miss season 1 Emma, the Strong.Female.Character, why the show had to put her with a boyfriend”.
I feel like Emma’s been pretty much badass for five seasons. I don’t know what season she wasn’t badass.
Stop hate against women with feelings 2k16
lol the reason emma gave regina the dagger in the first place is cuz the other characters are too emotionally invested in her so it will be hard for them to stop her from doing something she'll regret. That scene where regina used the dagger on her in that room was meant to be funny. I'm no regina fan but seeing y'all get sensitive over anything that happens to emma makes me cringe.
You’re no Regina fan, yet you sound exactly like one. Forgive me if I’m being too sensitive, but I wasn’t laughing when Regina took away Emma’s agency. I wasn’t laughing when Emma told her not to do it again and when Regina did do it again, even though it was unintentional, she smiled and said “I could get used to this.” I sure as hell wasn’t laughing when Regina talked Emma into feeling grateful for doing something she shouldn’t have done that made Emma upset.
So, please, do forgive me for being too sensitive about something that I and plenty of others found to be a disturbing abuse of power. Sorry I didn’t find it funny like I apparently was supposed to (seriously, who came up with the idea that this was supposed to be amusing?). And I’ve never denied the fact that Emma gave Regina the dagger because she was the only one who could put a stop to her if she needed to. That’s literally the only reason that Regina having the dagger makes even an inkling of sense. Regina was not given the dagger, however, so that she could use it unnecessarily whenever she wished. That’s not why Regina has the dagger, but that’s exactly what she’s doing with it. Honestly, put any other character in Regina’s place during that scene and then tell me it wouldn’t have been found problematic.
And you know what, why the hell shouldn’t we get sensitive about negative things that happen to Emma? Her life has been shit because of Regina, and as soon as it’s finally gotten good for her, she makes a sacrifice for Regina and everything goes to hell again. So yeah, I’m gonna be a little sensitive when Emma gets shit on by the person who is responsible for ruining her life, as well as the person she just made a pretty fucking huge sacrifice for, and then talked in to feeling grateful for it.
Call me sensitive, cringe away, but that isn’t going to make me or any others who feel the same change the way we view Regina.
