Red sighed,being Princess Emma's sworn knight was a lot of work for her, but it kept her busy and happy. Plus there was no better person for Snow to trust with her daughter's safety than the Queen's werewolf  best friend. With Red as Emma's knight, there was no way that the Princess could get into any trouble and hide it for long.

 Snow and Charming were preparing for the summer progress thoughout the kingdom in an attempt to show the people that the hard-won peace was still a lasting one and that Regina's hatred could never touch them again.  Emma, of course, was off somewhere in the castle or the grounds, and although Red knew she should be with her charge, after all she was the Princess's loyal knight and protector, she had to make sure her belongings were ready to leave in the morning. The problem was that in a little over a week, it would be wolfstime and the entire royal court would be traveling and therefore less protected than they were during most months' full moons.  

Red stalked out of her best friend's presence chamber and walked as demurely as she could manage, after all she was a wolf in a maiden's skin, to her Princess's chambers. Emma should be there, if she hadn't snuck out to practice her swordsplay or other weapons skills when she should be supervising te packing of her rooms. Red had herself left that task to Granny, she ad more important things to do, like guard the Princess of the White Kingdom and try to keep her out of too much trouble or danger.  Unfortunately for Red, Emma wasn't a "perfect princess" type all that much.  The werewolf guessed it came from Emma's parents'  tales of how they claimed the kingdom and probably spending so much time with Red herself.

Red had been thinking so hard and following the hallway she knew so well that she had arrived at Emma's chambers without really noticing it, "Princess? Are you in there? Emma?" She called, knowing that Emma could probably hear her though the door.

Sunny-ish, cold, windy, chilly, those were words you could use to describe today. But none of that mattered as Nikita walked into a small diner and sat down at the counter. She was hungry, true, but sometimes, like now, she was indecisive as to what she wanted to eat. She looked at what choices she had, almost not noticing the person who sat down next to her. "So, what do you recommend getting?" she asked, turning towards them.
