My Thoughts On... #38 - r/EmojiSquad 💻🤖🙂
Many of you are familiar with the social media platform Reddit. You might be familiar with them having pages under certain categories known as "subreddits". Well, there's one subreddit that was at one point popular, but not so much these days, which is, as you've seen from the title, r/EmojiSquad. Now, I would use the EmojiSquad subreddit to post emoji puzzles, as well as quotes from TV shows, movies, and viral videos. I've gotten many comments on those posts in the beginning, but nowadays, nobody seems to want to take the time to comment on them, and when they do, they fail to comply to the one rule of the EmojiSquad subreddit, which is to add an emoji in the comments. Every time they comment sans emoji, the moderators delete said comment. But yet, that doesn't deter them. They'll still comment without an emoji, and the comment gets taken down. When will they learn?! Also nowadays, not a lot of people visit the EmojiSquad subreddit. There's only like either 1 or 3 or 5 or any single digit number of people that go to the EmojiSquad subreddit. Not to mention that there are a sparse amount of recent posts from other users besides yours truly. If only a fair few people visit r/EmojiSquad in this day and age, why is the subreddit still in effect? Actually, a better question is, why are very few people using, let alone visiting the EmojiSquad subreddit, period? Emojis are still pretty much popular, and probably will be for a long, long time to come, but yet, a whole subreddit about emojis, where one of the rules is to use emojis in your posts, as well as comments, is rarely ever used anymore. What is the problem with people? What other subreddit is any more significant than the one for emojis? It's a big mystery. Anyway, those are my thoughts on r/EmojiSquad, and how nobody seems to want anything to do with this very subreddit, or its rules. I hope you enjoy this post, and be sure to like, re-blog, and/or reply. That is if you're interested.
