Im Rahmen des Festival Festival FOTO WIEN zeigt das KUNST HAUS WIEN noch bis zum 25. August 2019 die große Fotoausstellung Über Leben am Land. Sie vereint fotografische Positionen,die sich auf dokumentarische, inszenierende und bisweilen sehr persönliche Weise den unterschiedlichen Gesichtern der Provinz in Europa und den USA annähern. Sie sind analytisch, poetisch, real und surreal, fröhlich, komisch, melancholisch und bisweilen tragisch, nie objektiv oder vollständig. Kurz: sehenswert!

Vier Wochen geht es in Wien um Fotografie in all ihren Facetten. Vom 20. März bis 20. April 2019 rückt das neue Festival FOTO WIEN gemeinsam mit über 130 Programmpartnern das Medium Fotografie ins Zentrum der Aufmerksamkeit. Museen, Ausstellungshäuser, Galerien, Archive, Fotografie-Institutionen, Kunstuniversitäten, Künstlerinitiativen und Off-Spaces werfen mit zahlreichen Programmen einen neuen Blick auf das lokale und internationale Fotogeschehen. Die Klasse Michalak der Fotoschule Berlin zeigt im Rahmen des EMOP Berlin bis 6.11.2018 neue Arbeiten in einer Fotoausstellung im Kunstquartier Bethanien.

Die Klasse Michalak der Fotoschule Berlin ist auch in diesem Jahr Teil des EMOP (European Month of Photography) in Berlin. Vom 27. Oktober bis zum 6. November 2018 sind unter dem Titel von hier aus… neue fotografische Arbeiten im Kunstquartier Bethanien zu sehen.
