Sound on to catch the gist of what you’re about to read. I can’t stop thinking about earlier tonight when I was riding the ferry back to the European side of the city and I kept thinking “How am I nostalgic for a moment I am experiencing in a city I am living in at this moment in time?” I never felt that anywhere but here and it happens a lot. That’s the brutal beauty of this city, she makes you miss her when you’re with her, long for her when you’re apart and forget all the shit she puts you through all the while.
