Ngl I think my only goal for tomorrow will be clearing everything off've and around my rocking chair so I can curl up in a ball on it.
Entrapdak Positivity Month!
Day 2: First-Date
This was a fun experiment to try and be a little looser with coloring. I think I like how it came out :3 it was fun to do.
I picture their first date being on Beast Island together and Wrong Hordak getting to play butler. I think the made custom outfits for everyone somehow.
Wrong Hordak: What will it be, brothers?
Entrapta: One of everything! And make it tiny please!
Hordak: (after stammering for a minute) Just water, please.
The only food they have is ration bars and bugs bc they’re roughing it at the moment.
Hordak asked her on a date.
Generally speaking, I am the reasonable parent, the one who says "no" to unecessary toys, holds firm during tantrums etc. but ever since my son reached an age where cosleeping feels safe to me I cave in a heartbeat whenever he wants to sleep with us.
We just got back from an unplanned trip and suddenly my son is waking up every hour or so and crying until he's in our arms. And I am so ready to cave, buy those barriers to stop him rolling onto the floor and just bring him into bed with is forever (or y'know, till he's like 5).
But...I guess my husband is right and we should at least TRY and have him sleep in his bed because our sleep does suffer when Moomin is in ours. But as soon as he wakes up hes snuggling with Mama.
Very excited for my birthday because I'm requesting book giftcards again. Always a 10/10 gift tbh!
My son tried to whistle tonight and it was really funny. I mean, he basically spat all over me by accident but it was cute and hilarious so idc.
Ugh. I have decided that I *hate* my new job, thank god its ontly until the end of May. My son refused to sleep before midnight then woke me up at 1:30 then 4:30. Ew. I'm going in, doing my 3 hours of teaching and then RUNNING home to nap...except that he hasn't been napping well lately either 🥲
The idea of having another baby makes me so happy...but...the idea of waking up before 6am to teach my 8am class and not being able to have a coffee first does not spark joy 😭
I had an insane week on the books but so far everything I was anxious about has gone really well and I only have my favourite class this week 🥰 If only I could be paid to teach only them, honestly ✨️ AND MY SON TOOK HIS FIRST STEPS YESTERDAY AND THEY WERE TOWARDS ME! 🎉 My heart could explode ❤️
Some of the "kids" I teach are far too arrogant for people taking what is essentially remedial English.
Like, sir, if you were even halfway decent at this subject you would not be here, so maybe shut up and lock in or you are not getting your degree.
