We realize we are not a band anymore, but we still have a platform and we would feel ethically irresponsible if we did not lend our voices to certain causes we believe in. We fully support the Black Lives Matter movement. There can be no justice without peace and there can be no peace without justice. If we stay silent, we are not being an ally and thus allowing atrocities to continue. To that end, we have made our every album on our @Bandcamp pay-what-you-want with all of the proceeds split to the following charities for the foreseeable future: @naacp Legal Defense and Education Fund is the country's top legal firm fighting for racial justice. Through litigation, advocacy, and public education, it seeks structural changes to expand democracy, eliminate disparities, and achieve justice for all. It also defends the gains and protections won over the past 75 years of civil rights struggle. @bailproject is a national nonprofit organization that pays bail for people in need, reuniting families and restoring the presumption of innocence. In fighting mass incarceration, they aim to secure freedom for as many people as possible and ensure equal justice for all. We have also personally donated to these charities.
