Interface Inner Circle Technicolor IPyS Hack to the future Encounters of the third kind Series Digital collage 2017

The decades of the 80’s and 90’s brought the accelerated development of technology, a phenomenon that allowed the democratization of electronic devices for ordinary people. Access to computers meant, in one way or another, to be in touch with an idealized future; a future which we had only heard of through science fiction until then. In this man-machine interaction, new ways to access information were generated, as well as a change in the way of knowing and perceiving the world, not from a physical way, but now in a virtual way. In this series of collages and animated gifs I try to gather some of the icons and images that for me were quite significant in that encounter with technology through the personal computer, and to create new imaginaries that mythify or generate new meanings around that idea.
