Levitation is the process by which an object is held aloft, without mechanical support, in a stable position.

CHRISTTO ANDREW - ENCRYPTED PURGATORY BOLOGNA ITALY
Encrypted Purgatory is the new body of work presented by Christto & Andrew in the homonymous exhibition which will be held in Metronom from 27 October to 22 December 2018.
The works of the series, composed of installations, photographs and mixed media, strike for their alienating dimension and, thanks to the choice of visionary subjects, strong colors, environments and objects inspired by a chimerical scenery, create a disturbing atmosphere. The work of Christto & Andrew poetically evokes the concern for a future increasingly dominated by technology in which the man - in his most dehumanized version - is entirely controlled by an artificial mind. As in a 'encrypted purgatory', the visitor finds himself lost, suspended in a time that he can only dream of, with access codes that can be tried to write, but which certainly can not open doors of understanding - and control - of the reality.
