365 Day Mission - Day 42

1. Received a phone call from my property manager that the new tenant has moved in! This is a great relief. The property manager assured me the family was very grateful and I'm very happy to hear that. Hopefully they like the suburb and stay there for a long time. 

This happened because I pushed the property manager along and ensured I knew what was happening every step of the way. Not only that, the process was made easier because I made an effort to build a relationship with my manager. 

2. Vinh and I shot some extra videos which were to be included in the EOM DVD. It didn't take long at all because Vinh just free flowed his script and it all went well. If it wasn't for batteries running out, we would have been out of there sooner. Anyways, by taking time out of our busy schedule we were able to shoot these videos and move one step closer to completing the DVD! 

The reason why this shooting session happened was because Vinh and I aren't scared of abit of hard work. Even though we had a full day of work already, we pushed hard and got the job done!

3. I bought a book on amazon.com my workmate suggested called "Think fast and slow". It is basically a book about about how we make decisions. it's about how you can transform your thinking to help avoid overconfidence and become a better decision maker. 

The reason this happened is because I understand that enjoy reading books that builds who I am and helps me become a better individual. Personal development books are the best!

365 Day Mission - Day 37

1. Woke up and opened my iPad to read 'crush it' by Gary Vaynerchuk. What a way to start the day. In bed, the sun beaming in and me filling my brain with wisdom from someone else. Wish everyday was like this.

This came about first because Vinh motivated me to start reading. I've never been a reader but when I pick up something that interests me and reads easily, I just immerse myself in these books. Anyways I'm flying through this book. I should be finished with it in no time!

2. Had a great meeting mapping our Encyclopedia of Magic DVD with David Tang at the office. We are making good progress and we just need to give David a few videos and cover designs and we will be really close to our first ever DVD. The community will love it!

The reason why we are making good progress is because of the planning and executing we do behind the scenes. Go project planning! 

3. Finished the day with dinner Mike and Anna's to celebrate their return from their trip to Thailand. We caught up and saw all their videos and photos. So fun to chill out and hear their story from the trip. Can't beat good company with good food and wine =) 

Reason why this happened is because we missed them and they missed us!

365 Day mission - Day 30

1. Woke up and spent the morning with my brother having a good chat over breakfast. We had a quick hit of table tennis like the good old times and later on I took him to work. 

The reason I am able to do this is because I moved in with him a month ago. If I didn't do this, our relationship wouldn't be as close as it is now. Glad I made the move =) 

2. I also woke up to find that the house had been completely mopped. It was quite dirty from the BBQ last weekend and I had planned to mop it when I woke up but my brother told me dad did it yesterday. What a legend again! If you read my previous post, dad cleaned the BBQ for me as well. 

The reason he did this is because he loves his son's and also because of the fact that he just wants the best for us. Including a nice clean house. Dad's a legend!

3. Had a great meeting with Vinh and Jeff at semaphore. Great weather and just a nice, short and sharp meeting. It really was effective and I'm glad we're moving forwards with the company we have together. 

The reason it was a short and succinct meeting is because we had a set agenda and kept to it. We often go off on a tangent but we've learnt from the past and now all three of us try our best to stay on topic.
