to the anons i got here's the last post i'll be making on the subject + i will not be replying to this post because this is a minecraft blog and not a discourse blog:

it really depends on my mood!!! i really like exploring above ground so im tempted to say that, but aughH theres so so many cool caves!!!! i get lost more underground but if thats not a factor then ill take a good cave system any day!

Wood - Starter chest or no starter chest?

no hate if u do but i like starting from scratch!

Coal - Do you leave torches in caves or pick them back up when you leave?

i leave them unless im almost out. it helps monsters not to spawn and for me to remember if ive explored an area c:
