How am I supposed to focus

To not picture your face every minute

When every song is about love minus

The ones that deal with break up

Now I know well it's silly

Not every story has a happy ending

But every happy ending has a story

And each of those is worth telling

And to see myself in your eyes

Who is this funny friend?

Who never flops, never lies

Who seems pretty like a happy end?

But you're so nice, so kind

Will I break you if I move my hand?

You seem a bit like that kind

Like a prince made of sand

Not realistic in the slightest

Wouldn't hurt me with a word

But the details aren't the finest

And with a wave is gone your sword

ok. i love this one. "not every story has a happy ending but every happy ending has a story"?? that is SO poetic and i love the mirror effect it has. this poem has a sort of melancholy feel to it, very nice job

Bright as a rose

Shiny as a sunflower

When she makes a pose

Can't believe I know her

Behind me in class

We kid with each other

But she's got so much class!

I don't want to be "the downer"

She's pretty and she's chill

Gorgeous in a knitted sweater

I like her, but still

She's not in "camp flower"

My friends aren't fan of her

I thought it would be enough

But though I like them better

That is kinda rough

I can't do that, no use for whine,

My room's a mess, so is my mind

Scared of what's behind

The masks, especially mine

I don't like her, but she's like me

That one is nice but so boring

That girl is mean but she's caring

That one is all I want to be

Now please tell me what I should think

Choice is a right, but it's a curse

Once you made it there's no reverse

Give me the purple, give me the pink

I will lose me, I'll be brief

Without a map, without even shoes

Don't make me choose

i can tell that you're not feeling amazing and i'm sorry you're going through that. my advice is to do what you can, and don't beat yourself up for what you can't. you are doing the best you can, and some days that's more. take one thing at a time, you will be able to do this <3

She made a step in my direction

She was the first to show intention

But is it really right?

She kinda looks like me

Myself two years older

Brown eyes and brown hair

But she is really pretty

Her laugh's not cute per se

But it's genuine and sincere

Like the sound of chunking beers

It smells like hundreds of "hurray"

On her bag, the bi colour

But does it mean something?

Does she know the meaning?

Is it someone I can adore?

I like her a lot already

But it's already vain

I can almost feel the pain

Of when I'll realise it fully
