Thanks to each and every one of our customers who helped us raise $9,100 to help support local victims of human trafficking.
In June, we began selling limited-edition Woods Coffee mugs filled with our very first Woods-roasted coffee beans for $100 a piece. All of the proceeds from these mugs was dedicated to helping victims of human trafficking. On our first day, one very generous individual bought a total of 20 mugs!
Each of the leather-wrapped mason jar mugs were handcrafted, individually numbered, and came with a hand-painted Woods Coffee medallion.
Thanks to you, we were able to deliver a check for $9,100 to Engedi from the sale of these limited-edition mugs, a significant portion of Engedi's entire annual budget.
One-hundred percent of the money raised from this campaign will go directly toward supporting Engedi Refuge, a rehabilitation care facility for adult women who have been victims of sexual exploitation.
