Students will read the speech "I Have a Dream" delivered by Martin Luther King Jr. Afterwards, students are to find an example of each persuasive technique that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. uses, and write it in the comments section. Also, students are to summarize the argument that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. makes in their own words. Pay attention to the language, and the ways in which these techniques are used in preparation for writing your own persuasive piece.
