Dr. Tack
So today I got the privilege to have a professional conversation with one of the greatest professors on MSUM campus, Dr. Tack. David Tack is one of the best teachers I have ever had! We connect on so many levels it’s like we are long lost twins! Our conversation went for nearly 2 hours. It was great, but the one thing I can’t get out of my mind are the things he said about me. I asked him about taking Ed 310, which is a late sophomore, junior class. He said, “With your professionalism and maturity, I think you are more than ready to take that course. We usually have students space them out, but I think with your experience, you are more than ready.” I was so flattered, I talked about it for weeks! Now I gotta tell everyone what he told me today because honestly, I don’t think anyone has told me anything so kind and so personally enlightening I have really taken his words to heart. I mean, people have commented very nice things to me in the past, but this, coming from a professor with the title “Dr.” and PhD at the end... That’s very honorable in my book. Multiple times he said I was awesome, he said, “William, you’re awesome... You do great in everything you do; even in things that you don’t even realize, you do a great job. You might not see it, but you do!” and what really hit me was, “William, this is the highest compliment I could give one of my students, but honestly, I would want you to teach my kids,” my eyes got really big (or I thought the did), “Seriously, if you were teaching in a school my children were in, I would request that you teach them.” I just about shit my pants! All I thought was “Holy $@&%! You WHAT?!” I was totally blown away. He went on to say why and i just felt beyond honored. The best things in life really aren't always material objects. I know I’m just going on about it now, but that hour and forty-five minutes really pushed my life forward even more than what Dr. Tack said it was currently. Dr. David Tack is a Hero Teacher!

That moment when you catch yourself almost using an apostrophe incorrectly, and it is so traumatic. You get a rush of self-loathing that would bring Dean Freaking Winchester to his knees.
