Today was the retirement party for Art Reed, who worked for our company and Riverside Hotel 34 long years. During the retirement brunch the owner of our company, Barbara Wells, expressed her eternal gratitude for Art’s loyalty. Our President, Mike Weymouth, shed a tear or two to thank Art for his hard work day in and out. Many of us stepped up and showed our love for this extraordinary team member. We showered him with many gifts and of course the obligatory signed picture frame of our hotel. Our General Manager of the New River Cafe & Bakery, Chef Sabrina Courtemanche, made him a farewell cake with looked like an Amazon Package.
