tbh those rules were more aguri's impression of what a precure should be than what it actually is. the five rules did help mature the doki cures a bit, but they were already great cures to start. kaoruko does have a better requirement listing tho, i'll totally agree with that. of course, she has a far different personality from aguri. i'd hope aguri would agree with kaoruko tho!
Yeah, I do view it that way, bc like I said in the tags there’d already been plenty of Cures who just weren’t like Aguri described, but still, they were never challenged within Dokidoki. & what it means to be a Precure/what it requires is clearly different within groups... the Cures from teams handpicked by God aren’t allowed to fall in love, the Cures interacting w/ Ichigo Mountain have always been legendary patissieres & not simply legendary warriors, etc., so... it’s confusing.
