Ensemble Wrought to play Dublin’s Unitarian Church

Irish alternative trad act Ensemble Eriu will play the Dublin Unitarian Church on November 2nd.

Following a summer of festival appearances at the Masters of Tradition, Down With Jazz and Hotter Than July,  Ensemble Eriu will perform a special headline show at the Dublin Unitarian Church this November before beginning work on their sophomore album.

Meeting House Square in Dublin will see a vibrant array of musicals styles and sounds this July as the Improvised Music Company and Big Bang festival present Hotter Than July.

Taking place on Sunday, July 20th from 2pm to 7pm and held in association  with the Dublin City Council the free event will include a day of world music to the city including jazz, samba, traditional and gamelan.

Included in the vivid melting pot of performances on the day will be acts such as Manden Express, NCH Gamelan Orchestra, Tig Linn, Ensemble Eriu and North Strand Kontra Band. See full list of artists below.

IMC and Big Bang festival’s Hotter Than July will take place at the Meeting House Square in Temple Bar on July 20th from 2pm – 7pm. Admission is free, for more information visit the event’s Facebook page.
