thanks for that yoga rec on youtube! i've been looking to start practicing but don't want to pay for a gym until i know it's something i'll stick with
Glad I could help! Those videos are awesome. :)
HOW DID YOU GET YOUR POKEMON TO CP1024??? what am i doing wrong in this game?lol but seriously, did you just catch it or is that all gym stuff?
the higher level you are, the higher CP pokemon you come across. so that pokemon came from an eevee with a CP range in the 400 range. i also have two arcanines in the 1200CP range bc i evolved them from 500CP level growlithes.
where are you watching Bad Education?
i watched the episodes here+ and i recommend either the vodlocker links or the allmyvideos links.
and depending on how interested you are in film, how do you feel about the horror tropes their playing up this season?
I LOVE FILM, I LIVE FOR FILM, IT IS AMAZING
i'm actually enjoying the horror tropes this season much more than the others, but that's mainly because the horror this season has been more psychological which is what always interests me. i like seeing allison hallucinate kate and be actively terrified of becoming her and losing the ability to focus while shooting the arrow. i like the tension caused by scott feeling out of control and unable to control his shifts. i love watching stiles hallucinate and grapple with not being able to differentiate between dream and reality.
that's all way more up my alleyway than a dude in a giant lizard suit unable to touch water or an evil druid who's true scarred up face is revealed when mistletoe is thrown at her.
what do you think her eyes at the end mean in relation to all that then? i agree completely about control affecting the bitten weres, i just feel like there would be more of a cohesive whole to the born weres - and the separation of the two halves explained by their trauma (?). though this is probably giving waaay to much credit to teen wolf. do you know a lot about psychology? is there an equivalent to what you're talking about in nonfiction terms?
her eyes, i'm not entirely sure. i've seen some people claim it's proof that she could control the shift the entire time and was lying to stiles. i personally thought that in the context of the episode, stiles helped her to regain at least some control of her shift.
i don't know about born vs bitten were's, though i agree that's probably definitely giving too much credit to the writers. reminder: they're not even entirely sure about their characters ages. but if malia really is peter's daughter as suggested in 3.19, then she would be a born!were though i imagine her not knowing what she was caused some major problems.
and nahhhh. i took a basic intro to psychology class my freshman year of college that i skipped almost the entire semester. but i am a writer and a reader and analyzing and understanding character's is what i live for.
this has nothing to do with the sex/not sex. i just don't understand why everyone has decided malia has the mind of a 9yo. she remembers everything that happened as a coyote and references it, so those years happened for her no matter what form she is in. and as a coyote she'd actually be way passed any stage of maturity...
yes, but you just said “as a coyote she’d actually be way passed any stage of maturity”. as far as we know she hasn’t had any interaction with humans, apart form her father trying to kill her with traps. so i guess i’m just confused as to how she’s matured as human and thinks like a teenage girl when she hasn’t had the social interaction that builds character as well as the lack of social constructionism in her development. If we take into account theories of psychosocial development (such as erikson’s theory) then malia hasn’t been able to move from the stages because that requires interaction with her peers, etc.(that’s a freaking long winded way to say she hasn’t been around humans! so, it just doesn’t make sense to me.)
